  • CVS Tutorial. Concurrent Versions System (CVS) is a version control system, an important component of Source Configuration Management (CSM). It is used to record the history of source files and documents. This tutorial explains how to set up a remote CVS repository using a UNIX or Linux terminal, and access it from WinCvs and/or Eclipse IDE.
